NEST
Artist Open Call
Fringe Arts Bath 2026 | 22 May - 6 June
Do you make art about your mental health, disability or health recovery?
This open call is for those who create art in response to their lived experience of mental health, disability or other health challenge. Art is powerful medium of self-expression and I want to celebrate your unique voice!
Perhaps you explore your mental health condition through painting? Or use your photography to document your health recovery? Perhaps you write about how your walks through nature help you to relieve stress?
I’m looking for all forms of art: photography, painting, text, poetry, film, sculpture, installation, ceramic etc. Your art could be new or old. It could be abstract, research-led and as personal as you like.
Anyone in the world can apply. There is no limits on age or expertise.
Please only submit if your artwork is relevant to my theme.
Deadline: Friday 10 April 2026 23:59 GMT.
Submission is FREE, but if I select your work, there is a participation fee of £25
(essentially crowdfunding as Fringe Arts Bath is volunteer-led).
